My own journey has evolved over the years with faith and my daily writing down of my intentions. Creating my own Vision Boards has helped me gain clarity into visualizing while staying focused on what it truly is that I wished to have in my life.
I was born in Tennessee and traveled to California in 1951 on a Greyhound bus with my mother and father. My father wanted a better life for us. I was always a very curious child interested in all things creative. One Christmas my mom and dad gave me a Kodiak Brownie camera. I was always taking pictures of what was going on around me. You could say that I was creating my first Vision Board now that I think about it. Putting pictures together of the life I dreamed of.
In college, I studied film, and photography, truly enjoying the creative side of life. Creativity showed up in all parts of my life. Whether it was where I lived such as Lake Tahoe, Laguna Beach, Palm Springs, or near Santa Fe New Mexico. Artistic people would become and still are my mentors. The first artistic mentor in my life was my father. He was a welder and he created many things.
Other experiences I have enjoyed are women's retreats, participating in a drumming group, and a sweat lodge.
I have had the opportunity to meet as well as work with some of the most talented individuals from different backgrounds. Individuals from the movie industry, interior designers, publishers, artists, and the list goes on. Individuals that through watching them create has brought me to working with others. To assist others in creating the life they want. Through their own faith and with the tools I share with them with my online class to create their Vision Board, their own dream board.
Those individuals have left an imprint on my own professional career. Whether it be working in accounting at Star Kist Foods in my twenties. Owning my own chidlren's store in my thirties. Publishing my own magazine in my fifties. Sales representative in the wholesale furniture and accessory business in my sixties. An now as a Life Coach in my seventies. Ever evolving is a continuous process of life.
As a Life Coach I have trained with and learned from some remarkable women, Shaleen Sterling, Christine Kane and Sharon Hooper. I am grateful to each and everyone of them.
As your facilitator, your coach through this process I wish to provide you the tools to reach your dreams. Along with your spiritual paith I will share with you what I have learned through my training to become a Life Coach. Lifes experiences are the greatest teachers. DREAM BIG!
It is by my faith in Jesus Christ that has sustained me all these years and continues to do so.
